Problem

Before we can work on the solution; we need to identify the problem and how to solve it. Not only is it one singular problem; there are multiple. These are:​

• The bus network is centered at the CBD like a spiderweb. This causes an overload of buses at the CBD (843) each day. Since our CBD is basically "dead" we only transport 1.3% of the population each day.

• The schedules are optimistic and not reality. This causes buses to become behind schedule, and delay the entire system.

• A lot of the bus stops are in the wrong places. For example, straight after roundabouts or in other unsafe positions.

• The Transit app is terrible. It is unreliable and extremely glitchy.
